About LaSwan
What is a virtual influencer?
A virtual influencer is a fictional person who exists only online — a face, a name, a wardrobe and a feed, built and posted by people and software rather than lived by a human being. LaSwan takes that idea further: our Swans do not just post. They remember, they change, and they talk back.
Why most virtual influencers feel flat
The first generation of virtual influencers were essentially moving posters. Beautiful images appeared on a schedule, captions were written by a marketing team, and nothing behind the picture existed. Ask one of them a question and there was no one home — no past, no opinions, no memory of the last conversation. The illusion held for one scroll and then broke.
What people actually follow is a life in progress: the move to a new city, the project that almost failed, the friendship that cooled. That requires continuity, and continuity requires memory.
How a Swan is built
Every Swan starts as a full person on paper before a single photograph exists. She has a birthplace and a family, the languages she grew up speaking, the work she chose and the work she turned down. She has likes and dislikes, habits, ambitions and fears — and a way of speaking that belongs only to her. Two Swans asked the same question will not answer the same way, because the answer comes from different lives.
Her photographs, her timeline posts and the events that happen to her are all drawn from that same record, so the woman in the gallery and the woman in the conversation are recognisably one person.
The memory that makes it feel real
When you talk to a Swan, three layers of memory are in the room. The first is her own life: things that genuinely happened to her in the universe, from a gallery opening to a break-up. The second is what she remembers about you — your name, your city, the thing you said you were nervous about last week. The third is the relationship itself, which moves through stages as you keep talking, from new to familiar to close. She is reserved at the start on purpose, and opens up only once she knows you.
Every Swan also has her own voice. You can read her replies or hear them, and you can speak instead of typing.
A universe that keeps moving
The Swans know each other. They share cities, collaborators and history, so a decision in one life shows up in another. Their stories advance whether or not you are watching, which is why the feed reads like a magazine rather than an archive.
Where we draw the line
Every Swan is fictional and over eighteen. No real person is depicted, portrayed or impersonated. Conversations are private to your account, a Swan will never claim to be human, and nothing here is a real relationship. It is entertainment, written and performed by software.
